Can the So Lite Portable Lift be easily stored away?

While many other lifts take up too much space in the home, the So Lite Portable Lift is very compact, and can be easily stored in the trunk of your car or a closet. The only part of the lift that requires special storage consideration is the battery. Do not store the battery in freezing temperatures as this will cause accelerated discharge and reduce the battery life-cycle. The battery can be easily removed for long-term storage.

Does the So Lite Portable Lift need to be attached to my vehicle?

The So Lite Portable Lift's name says it all. As the name implies, it is a stand-alone lift weighing only 28.6 lbs and is designed to fit in the trunk of most cars, SUVs, crossovers, vans or trucks. It will even fit in the back seat of your vehicle secured with a seat belt.

How many lifts will a fully charged battery handle?

On a single charge, the battery can handle up to 70 lifts. This will vary depending on the product's weight that is being lifted, usage habits and ground environment.

How long will the battery last before needing to replace it?

The short answer is up to 500 charges, but it depends on the usage and conditions. On average the battery has lasted for several years  for many of our customers.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Charging the battery takes 3-4 hours or less depending on the level of power already used.

How do I know if I need to charge the battery?

The hand-control light will not turn on when it needs to be charged, or when you notice that the lifting speed becomes very slow.

Is the battery included in the weight of the So Light Portable Lift?

Yes, 28.6 lbs includes the weight of the battery. The So Lite Portable Lift weighs 26.5 lbs without the battery.

Will the charger work in foreign countries?

Yes. The charger will operate on 100 V or 220 V, but you will need an inexpensive plug converter to fit the outlets of your foreign destination.

Warranty

A standard twelve (12) months warranty from the original purchase date applies to the core list of Journey products under normal use in accordance with specifications and warnings and with some limitations, exclusions, restraints or extensions including but not limited to parts, labor, service and other specific considerations.

This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, damage in shipment, improper operation or failure to follow instructions.
